Exo Drones Vs DJI: Which One is the Best for You?

Over the past few years, drone technology has progressed rapidly. However, drones are still limited in their use. Currently, drones are too expensive for widespread use, which is one of the main issues. This comparison will look at which drone, Exo Drones or DJI drones, offer the best value for money and which drones you should be using if you want to get the best out of your investment in drone technology.

Exo Drones Vs DJI Drones are both excellent drones, but they differ significantly in some aspects. Firstly, Exo Drones have a battery life of 20 minutes versus DJI’s 15 minutes. This doesn’t sound like much at first, but it can actually make a big difference in terms of how long your drone can stay airborne.

Exo also has a modular design that makes its body more durable than the more fragile frames on DJI’s. But this frame can be an issue for some people – if you’re someone who likes to experiment with different types of camera equipment, then you might find this less flexible approach frustrating. The other major difference is price.

While Exo Drones don’t come cheap – they start at around $1,000 – they’re significantly cheaper than DJI models, which start from about $2,000. The upshot is that Exo Drones offer better value for money. For all those reasons between Exo vs DJI, we think Exo Drones win out over DJI in Price.

Exo Drones vs DJI Drones: Performance

In the performance comparison of DJI vs Exo drones, there are some strengths and weaknesses to both of these drones, but they are both excellent in their own right. Exo Drone’s best feature is its versatility, while DJI has better camera quality and battery life. You should consider what you need before deciding which one to purchase. If you are looking for a drone that can fly for longer periods of time, then get the DJI model.

But if you want something that can be used as an action cam or GoPro alternative then go with the Exo Drone. Your needs will determine what you need! Consider how often you will use the drone, how much money you want to spend, and whether or not having footage from above is important to you when choosing between the two models.

Exo Drones: Performance

The Exo Drone offers a range of features, including take-off and landing from the palm of your hand, autonomous flight modes such as orbit, follow me, and waypoint missions.

It also has a 720p HD video camera that transmits live video to your Android or iOS device via Wi-Fi. You can even monitor the camera’s view remotely with a VR headset.

There are three different battery options – 1420mAh for 18 minutes flight time, 2900mAh for 25 minutes and 5000mAh for 35 minutes. There are two different drone sizes – small and large, which correspond to 650 grams (1.4 lbs) and 1500 grams (3.3 lbs) respectively.

The maximum speed of the drone ranges from 10m/s (35 km/h) up to 40m/s (106 km/h).

DJI Drones: Performance

The most significant advantage of DJI drones, when compared to Exo Drones, is performance. They offer better video quality, a wider range of features and greater flight time.

However, Exo Drones also have advantages. They are much cheaper for example which makes them much more appealing for people on a tight budget.

Another big difference is that their customer service has been highly praised whereas there are many complaints about DJI’s customer service. One key point is that if you already have a smartphone then it may be worth considering an Exo as they come with an app.

On the other hand, if you don’t have a phone then it may be worth going for a DJI drone.

Exo Drone vs DJI Drones: Features

When it comes to feature comparison of DJI drone vs Exo drone Exo drones are cheaper but have lower-quality cameras. DJI drones are more expensive and have better features, like a 4K camera. Drone purchases are largely determined by what you want to do with them. If you’re just going to fly around and take pictures of your friends then go for an Exo.

If you want to fly around and shoot videos or photos of landscapes then go with a DJI. What’s good about the DJI Mavic Pro (the model we were comparing) is that it has an autonomous flight mode so you can just put in a destination and let it fly there on its own. It doesn’t even require any knowledge of control!

But if you really want something that can do anything, including flying itself while you use other apps on your phone or laptop, then go with a newer model of the DJI Inspire 2 Pro.

Exo Drones: Features

Exo’s drones are cheaper to buy, easier to fly and have a much longer range than those of DJI. The company offers two different models – the X1 is an easy-to-fly drone that has a maximum range of one kilometer, while the X2 can fly up to three kilometers.

The X1 costs $299 and comes with an HD camera and a package for aerial mapping. The X2 costs $549, comes with a 4K camera and includes flight planning software. It also has the option of using it as a mobile hotspot for up to 10 devices.

EXO Drone is also capable of being used by first responders as well as disaster relief organizations when they need to survey areas that might be difficult or dangerous to access on foot.

DJI Drones: Features

The DJI Mavic Pro comes with a lot of features that can be found in much more expensive models, such as its obstacle avoidance system and 360-degree camera gimbal. Its price point & portability makes it perfect for use both by professionals and amateurs.

Exo Drones: Features: Exos are created to work in environments where traditional drones would struggle, like extreme weather conditions or high altitudes. They are designed to withstand significant impacts.

If you’re an amateur drone, then you might want to look at getting an Exo drone if your budget is limited. But if you’re a pro who needs high-quality footage & live to stream, then get DJI Mavic pro.

Final Thoughts on Exo Drones VS DJI Drones

My final thoughts on Exo vs DJI drones are that  Exo Drone might not be as high quality as the DJI drone, but it’s still a lot cheaper. It’s a great choice for those who are on a budget and want to get into drone flying. For example, an Exo Drone can cost less than $100 while an equivalent DJI drone will cost you around $1,000.

The downside of the Exo drones is that they have fewer features than their more expensive counterparts. For example, you won’t find autopilot features or gimbals with these drones. However, if you’re looking for a good starter drone then this may be your best option!

  7. dji makes great drones, and they’re fairly easy to use, but their high price tag leaves them out of reach of some consumers. The Phantom 3 Series is a great drone for budding photographers and videographers who want to create professional-quality images and videos. However, for only a few dollars more, you can get another great option in Exo Drones. So what does it have that DJI drones don’t? More value for less money.
